The National Film Conference (राष्ट्रिय चलचित्र कन्फरेन्स) is a platform to debate and discuss Nepali Cinema through academic and intellectual perspectives. The Conference brings together experts, professionals and practitioners from not only the film fraternity but also from the fields of social sciences to discuss the societal impact and political-economy of Nepali Cinema.
Human Rights Film Center organized the first National Film Conference on 12-14 September, 2019 as a plan to make it an annual event. But the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath made it impossible to organize the event. Hence, the event was adjourned for five years.

– Keynote Speech by Mr. Deependra Gauchan
– Looking at the Historic Development of Nepali Cinema by Mr. Tulsi Ghimire
