Volunteer Mobilization for Video Advocacy

Not only films, video advocacy for ensuring human rights are also the part of the strategy that HRFC follows. A video can say lot more that texts, sounds or pictures. Hence, using audio-visual medium for advocacy is important.

HRFC plans to develop a team of volunteers in all the seven proposed provinces (subject to change if there is amendment in constitution) to make videos on the violation and/or abuse of human rights in those provinces. In the first phase it plans to train two youths from every province on basic film making and advocacy as well as human rights.

The volunteers then will be mobilized to their respective provinces to make video advocacy materials, with technical support from HRFC. The videos will be screened in the 5th NHRIFF under a special section for advocacy.
